Textuoso runs in your browser and ships the third-party libraries below. Each is used under its own license; the copyright stays with its authors.
HEIC support and the LGPL
Photos from Apple devices are HEIC, which browsers other than Safari can't decode on their own. Textuoso decodes them with libheif-js (a build of libheif), which is licensed under the GNU LGPL v3 (which incorporates the GNU GPL v3).
It is used unmodified and loaded as a separate file, so it can be replaced with another build that offers the same interface. The unmodified source for the exact version shipped here is at the links above.
